GMEC is an authorized American Heart Association Course provider.

Pediatric CPR skills are strongly suggested when students live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first-aid for choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims.

In order to better address the difficulties of scheduling a full ACLS course,  Genesis provides the option to participate in a ACLS Provider (Certification) or Update (Renewal) course.

The ONLINE element of this option may be taken at the Student's leisure at any time in the comfort of your own home, day or night. Upon successful completion of the online portion of the ACLS course, the Student would contact Genesis by phone: 714-577-0187, or by email: to set up a short On-Site Skills Test. Times for the Skills Test are very flexible and available during the week or weekends!


Online AHA Skills

The On-Site ACLS Skills Test that will be scheduled at Genesis may be purchased for $100.00. Payment may be submitted during scheduling for On-Site session by phone with any major credit card.

The ACLS  Healthcare Provider Course practices a LOW-STRESS Mega Code as a hands-on, simulated clinical scenarios where vital life saving skills are practiced.

As an American Heart Association authorized provider, our ACLS course focuses on these core concepts: proficiency in basic life support care; recognizing and initiating early management of peri-arrest conditions; managing cardiac arrest; identifying and treating ischemic chest pain and acute coronary syndromes; recognizing other life-threatening clinical situations (such as stroke) and providing initial care; ACLS algorithms; and effective resuscitation team dynamics.
