Venipuncture for Technologists – This course in venipuncture for technologists cover all topics required by the California State Department of Public Health to meet the requirements for venipuncture certification. The technologist is introduced to the basic skills necessary to safely perform venipuncture for contrast x-rays and to help ensure patient safety. This course is also a refresher for certified technologists.
This course provides 6.75 hours of didactic training.
ASRT Approved Category “A” Credit
This course has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (ASRT) for 6.75 Category “A” Credits and meets the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) criteria for Category “A” continuing education credit.
This course meets CDPH-RHB acceptance criteria for continuing education credits required to renew certificates and permits in radiologic technology.
